Introducing Acrovyn® with Recycled Content.
The newest addition to our interior wall protection range, Acrovyn® with Recycled Content, incorporates up to 50% post-consumer recycled content in its resin – without missing a beat in performance or design quality. Acrovyn® with Recycled Content retains all the key benefits of our original Acrovyn®: impact resistance, cleanability, and custom colour options -while advancing our commitment to circular design and responsible manufacturing.
Giving Waste a Second Life
The recycled content in Acrovyn® with Recycled Content is sourced from post-consumer PET bottles and food-grade single-use plastics – some of the most common contributors to global landfill. These plastics are broken down into monomers, re-polymerised with glycol modifiers, and transformed into high-performance PETG resin. Once mixed with colourants, extruded and laminated, the result is the durable Acrovyn® sheet that designers and facility managers already trust – with a significantly reduced environmental footprint
Same Acrovyn®, Elevated Impact
High recycled content doesn’t mean low performance – Acrovyn® with Recycled Content is simply Acrovyn® improved. With parallel performance to its standard counterpart – Acrovyn® with Recycled Content is certified to the exact same standards:
- Resistant to certain bacterial & fungal growth (per ISO-846 and G 21-13)
- Chemical resistant (per ASTM D 543)
- Impact resistant (per ASTM F 476-84)
- Abrasion resistant (per ASTM D 4060)
- UL Class A/1 fire rated and labelled
