Keeping the players’ tunnel looking fresh and appealing for the players, guest teams and visiting fans has always been a challenge for Blackburn Rovers.
Traditional white painted walls and graphics printed on foam based boards are all very susceptible to scratches and damage from passers-by and heavy kit carts. With the tunnel looking more and more shabby and maintenance costs increasing, a more durable solution needed to be found.
Construction Specialties supplied and installed their durable Acrovyn by Design Digital Wall Covering, a bespoke impact and scratch resistant solution which offers complete protection for the wall as well as the club’s custom, embedded artwork – which includes the Blackburn Rovers crest, motto, roll of honour and sponsor logos.
Installed to the full height of the walls, Acrovyn by Design has completely transformed the tunnel which will continue to look vibrant and attractive, with very little maintenance for many years to come.
