The Co-Operative is the fifth largest supermarket chain in the UK and operates 4,800 retail trading outlets across the country.
At the new Co-Operative Food store in Colchester, protecting walls from impact damage and maintaining a modern and hygienic supermarket interior was high on the priority list.
Wall protection in the busy store was provided by tough Acrovyn sheeting and complemented by heavy duty SCR-200 crashrails in the most vulnerable areas.
In back of house areas where damage from heavy trolleys is common, walls were protected with severe duty EPDM rubber Acrovyn Crashrails.
With Acrovyn wall protection in place throughout the store, Co-Op are able to spend more time running their supermarket and less time and money repairing damaged interiors.
