CS Moisture Barriers are typically fitted beneath or behind our expansion joint covers, to help prevent moisture ingress from above or below, and are offered in three sizes to suit a full range of our joint cover widths.
Some of our expansion joint cover systems, particularly those designed for building exteriors or areas where moisture ingress is a concern, are supplied with a Moisture Barrier as standard. For most other models one of our MB series moisture barriers can be specified as an option.
CS Moisture Barrier is a 7-ply laminate combining four layers of high density Polyethylene and three high strength cord grids.

This Expansion Joint Moisture Barrier is a flexible Polyethylene membrane, available with an optional drainage assembly.
The membrane is installed beneath the expansion joint cover to help prevent moisture ingress from above or below.
