The 60 bed purpose built older people’s mental health unit at Cefn Coed Hospital in Wales opened in May 2012.
The facility features a ‘wandering loop’ design so patients can walk safely around the wards. To enhance patient safety CS solid timber handrails on stainless steel mounting brackets were installed in all corridors.
The stylish and functional hospital handrails are compliant with the current British Standard 8300 and Approved Document M building regulations.
